Kognitio and Marks & Spencer Money scoop the ‘Most effective IT services partnership’ award

Three-times winner Kognitio is once again rewarded for its outstanding managed services delivery to leading financial services organisation

Selecting the Companies from a shortlist of three nominees, the panel of independent judges chose Marks & Spencer Money and Kognitio for the ongoing success of their partnership. During this collaboration the two organisations developed the Minerva business and customer intelligence database and successfully rolled out a Chip and PIN project to ensure maximum customer retention and increased customer spend by credit and store card as a result of the Chip and PIN program introduced earlier this year.

This project achieved all its objectives around accuracy of delivery and communication, card activation and usage rates (set by profit segment) and cross sales targets. As a result, Marks & Spencer Money has been unique in the UK financial services market in its approach to using what would otherwise have been a major “cost sink” to drive real tangible business benefits and develop their customer relationships.
