KOGNITIO NAMED TO CRN MAGAZINE’S “BIG DATA 100” LIST

Pioneer in-memory analytics firm honored for innovation and dedication to meeting needs of today’s businesses

NEW YORK, NY May 7, 2013 — Kognitio, driving the convergence of Big Data, in-memory analytics and cloud computing, today announced that it has been named to UBM Tech Channel’s inaugural CRN 2013 Big Data 100 list. The award recognizes companies innovating in Big Data technology and covers three categories: business analytics, data management and infrastructure and services. Kognitio recently reported a record-setting year, doubling its bookings in FY13, growing at a year-over-year rate of 99.2 percent, and reported revenue numbers for the fourth quarter of its fiscal year that were 69 percent higher than the third quarter, and 48 percent higher than for the same period last year. It attributed its performance to increased interest in business analytics, especially by smaller- and mid-tier firms, which drove greater demand for the Kognitio Cloud solution. The Kognitio Cloud enables firms to gain greater insights from vast amounts of Big Data at a fraction of time cost and in a fraction of the time required by competing, more traditional business intelligence solutions.
