define_cluster <systemid> [<settings>] [<configuraton>]

Define a new cluster <systemid> but don’t start anything.

kodoop define_cluster MyTestKog
create_cluster <systemid> [<syspass>] [<settings>] [<configuraton>]

Create a new cluster <systemid>, start it, and initialize it ready for use. See environment variables that affect creation.

kodoop create_cluster MyTestKog
list_clusters [<systemid>]

List the clusters which have been defined. Optionally list only the <systemid> cluster.

kodoop list_clusters
kodoop list_clusters MyTestKog
cluster_info [<systemid>]

Show version and startup information about the cluster. Optionally show information for the <systemid> cluster only.

testenv

Test the local runtime to make sure prerequisites are working.

cluster <systemid> <cmd>

Run commands at the Kognitio on Hadoop YARN cluster level. See cluster commands for full details.

sql <systemid> [<user>]

Run a command line SQL session against the running server. <user> defaults to SYS.

push_package <ver>

Push the Kognitio software package for <ver> into HDFS. Not normally needed as this happens anyway. This is mainly used in development after recompiling a package.

keytab <cmd>

Manipulate keytab files stored in HDFS for use by kodoop instances on kerberised clusters.
