The latest version of client tools for Linux is at http://www.kognitio.com/forums/latest_8 ... nts.tar.gz.

A good way to install ON NODES WHICH ARE NOT PART OF A KOGNITIO CLUSTER (i.e. not an AP or DB node) is to unzip the file then run "tar -C /opt/kognitio/wx2/current -xf <resulting tar file>" to install in /opt/kognitio/wx2/current, then commands like 'wxsubmit', 'wximport', 'man wxexport', ... should run normally.

Should you want to install this on a DB/AP node, modify the instructions above to install to a different location, then modify your path for relevant users to pick up the binary files before the usual ones under /opt/kognitio/wx2/current/bin, assuming you want some users to pick up new versions of e.g. wxsubmit for some reason.

Note that you will need the 32 bit runtime installed to be able to use these tools otherwise you will get errors like "bash: ./wxsubmit: No such file or directory" when you try to run wxsubmit. On RHEL/CentOS you can run "yum install glibc.i686" for this, and on SLES "zypper install glibc-32bit".
