ERROR: Disk uid WXD:bla, raid cluster 0, raid position 0

by stillwater » Fri Apr 04, 2014 9:59 pm

Restarting the database server gets me this error:

ERROR: Disk uid WXD:bla, raid cluster 0, raid position 0 is missing
Abandoning due to fatal errors.

In addition to a dead server being unpleasant, the RAID strings in this message are confusing as the system is configured to use database files.

Anyone seen this, and discovered a solution to it?

Hi,
Could you tar up the contents of /var/log/wx2/* which is where the KAP logs are located and email that tar file to helpdesk@kognitio.com.
We can then review the logs to see what might have happened for you.

Regards,
Helpdesk
