http://www.kognitio.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=26 has a Kognitio installation guide attached, and the installation should be the same whether on RHEL/SLES/CentOS/...
Once you have this setup, you can connect using MSTR as you would with other databases - MSTR has specific Kognitio support, so make sure you select Kognitio as the database to get best performance. When setting up the DSN to be used by Kognitio, use one or more Kognitio server addresses with the relevant server port (6550 by default).
Let us know if you have any further questions.

You specify whether it is a User DSN or System DSN when you create it.
If you do this via the Console, you select the File menu, then Connect, then click on the "..." box to the right hand side of the dropdown list of existing DSNs. That starts the ODBC Data Source Administrator, which has separate tabs for User DSN and System DSN. Whichever tab is selected when you add the new DSN, that is the set it will stay in.

Microstrategy provided connector to connect kognito, here you go
Kognitio has been a partner of Microstrategy for many years with large scale implementations on both sides of the Atlantic. Microstrategy supplies an out-of-the-box database connector for Kognitio Analytical Platform. This connector is configured to exploit the high-concurrency ultra-fast SQL capabilities that enterprise users require when deploying dashboards and complex reports to thousands of users.
Hope this helps, Thanks.
