How can I find out what SQL Console runs to do something

by markc » Wed Apr 23, 2014 9:38 am

Frequently I use Console to accomplish a task (e.g. create an image of a table in a certain way, or create a new user).

I'd like to be able to script some of these actions, so how can I find out what SQL the Console runs to achieve them?

One feature of Console is that you can see the queries it runs. If you look at the Logs pane at the foot of the Console window (ensure View | Panes | Logs is ticked to be able to see this), then check the Actions tab after e.g. creating a table image, or creating a new user.
