CHICAGO, June 18, 2013 — Kognitio, driving the convergence of Big Data, in-memory analytics and cloud computing, today announced it has signed a contract with Chicago-based Willard Bishop LLC. Under the agreement, Kognitio will deliver a cloud-based environment that will enable Willard Bishop to provide advanced retail analytics to its retail and consumer packaged goods clients throughout the United States. Using a Kognitio Cloud implementation, Willard Bishop will be able to develop shopper-based merchandising assessments, strategies and executional plans that can dramatically enhance its clients’ pricing and promotion programs. Clients of wide-ranging size will be able to access sophisticated, customer-data based analyses, consistent with the company’s approach to offering more innovative approaches to recognizing and acting on opportunities in the retail universe.
